Diogenes chooses Xpublisher for its book and e-book production

Released on 16. December 2021

The Diogenes Verlag, one of Europe’s largest independent fiction publishing houses, is digitalizing its entire media production with the web-based editorial system Xpublisher.

Following a successful proof-of-concept, Diogenes will initiate the migration of its core processes – manuscript editing as well as novelty production – to Xpublisher in early 2022, together with the transfer of its existing media assets. Creation of the publisher preview, the cover workflow, and the management of author images will be integrated in a subsequent expansion phase.

Xpublisher facilitates an efficient content-first approach. The system organizes all content across all publication channels and ensures automated content processing. Manuscripts are processed both online and offline. Its genuinely intuitive usability simplifies collaboration among all project stakeholders. The high-performance workflow engine provides support across the entire production chain at Diogenes, ensuring a seamless exchange of media assets and other documents.

“We are honored that Diogenes has entrusted our editorial system with its book and e-book production, so that going forward, we can contribute to the success of the publishing house,” reports Xpublisher CEO Matthias Kraus enthusiastically.
