Change Tracking Features
Change tracking helps authors maintain a complete overview of their revisions. It highlights all changes made both to the text as well as to any elements. This makes them visible to all users. With proper authorization, project participants can accept or reject these changes – regardless of whether they are working in the intuitive mode, the technical mode, or the XML editor.
The combination of XML documents stored online and straightforward change tracking makes file-level version comparisons a thing of the past. This eliminates the hassle of sending documents by e-mail, making location-independent coordination for all team members significantly easier. Authors can focus entirely on the content.

Comment Feature
This feature helps users communicate effortlessly with each other and collaborate quickly on the correct content. Users can add annotations to the text, to a table, or to an image.
One critical advantage is the ability to mark comments as read. This feature is particularly useful when working together on a large document with multiple comments. This way, the comments that have already been read are hidden and only the new comments are displayed. Users enjoy clearly arranged content editing along with a highly efficient proofreading process.
Role Allocation
If Xeditor is linked to a backend such as a CCMS or a CMS, different access privileges can be assigned to specific individuals. The allocation of roles in Xeditor is already defined during the integration and configuration process. It determines the document editing rights assigned to each role.
Users can choose between the editing mode, the comment mode, and the read-only mode. This results in efficient proofreading processes and approval workflows between internal and external users.
